3 Best Sites to Buy Comics Online

First of all, let me just say if you don’t have to buy comics online, don’t do it. What I mean to say is, if you have a local comic shop with friendly staff that isn’t to far, buy from them. You’ll probably meet some cool people and have a good time whenever you visit. But if you’re like me, I grew up where the closest shop was an hour drive. So the presence of online comic shops would have been great back then.

Now there are tons of places online you can buy comics. But for all my searching, these three have been my favorite. I can’t really say that one is better than the other. I’m not going to rank them. They all have different things that make them my favorite. So it will depend more on what you’re looking for when you’re shopping online for comics.

Another great place with similar features is mycomicshop.com. The biggest thing that sets this site apart is their extensive back issue collection. They have created a hub where people can list their comics for sale and you can search for tons of older issues you may be missing in your collection. You can also check and see prices for issue you may already have to see what they are worth. I personally used this site for back issues of some X-Men and Wild C.A.T.S. comics I couldn’t find at my local comic shop. They also offer pull list subscriptions and discounts on pre-orders.

The final site I want you mention is ComiXology.com. If you have no desire to have a physical comic and just want to read on your phone, tablet, or computer, this is the place for you. As an Amazon company, they have all the latest comics and many back issues. There is also an Unlimited Subscription that has titles you can read for free. I got caught up with many of the DC Rebirth comics like Flash. Not all titles are available in Unlimited, but there are plenty to satisfy your reading needs.
