Spider-Verse #5

Spider-Verse #5

Miles visits Earth-90214 and the resurrected Spider-Man Noir in Spider-Verse #5. And the relic that made this Earth’s Peter Parker a Spider-Man may hold a key to the Web of Life and Destiny. But the last person to have it was Norman Osborn. And since he is out of the picture they must do some detective work. And what they find leads them to a secret Nazi plot to use the relic for the Reich.

Men don't hug.
Spider-Verse #5

I really enjoyed this issue. It is a little hard to see how they are going to conclude the mini-series in just one more issue, but they have all been really entertaining so far. The Noir artwork in this one was superb. The black and white theme with the red from Mile’s suit and the Nazi red really makes them stand out. Plus a Spider-Man Noir series of it’s own is spinning out of this. So if you’re a fan of the 1930’s Spider-Man, you’ll love that.
