Ghost-Spider #5

Ghost-Spider #5

Usborne Books & More

The Jackal’s obsession with Gwen Stacy has led him to follow her to Earth-65 in Ghost-Spider #5. He will let nothing and no-one stop him from getting to her. But as far as Gwen knows, every thing is quiet on her Earth. All she wants to do is check on the Bodega Bandit in the hospital and make it to band practice early for once. Unfortunately, the inter-dimensional Miles Warren has other plans. What evil can he concoct with the Earth-65 version of himself?

Gwen unaware of the danger ahead
Ghost-Spider #5

This was a really good issue. The only gripe I have is the band practice jokes are getting a little old. I feel like there has been one in each issue. The Jackal is turning out to be a pretty dangerous foe for Gwen in this series. His character actually makes me a little uneasy, which is good for a villain. They took him beyond what I thought they would in this issue. I was thinking maybe he would just be a crazy obsessed nuisance. But he’s turning out to be someone that can do some damage in the Spiderverse. The art is great as always in this series. I will say the Jackal looks nothing like a jackal but I guess he never really has.
